Learn how to create raised embroidery designs with our Puffy Foam! We will also show you how you can create it on your software, the category of fonts that is specially designed for puffy foam, and how you can see what it will look like before you stitch it out!
In part 1 we will be creating the “lolly” flowers and in part 2 we will be sewing the stems and the leaves. In part 3 we will be completing the block.
In block 5, you will make three circle flowers and “lolly” flowers
using your Circular Attachment. The three circle flowers will be
finished with a satin stitch and the “lolly” flowers will be turned,
pressed and topstitched in place. The stems are made using bobbin
work, with your Specialty Bobbin Case and the leaves are then
appliquéd in place.
This class is designed for you to work on a project that you want to do. You will need to let us know in advance as to what you want to make, this way we have time to prepare. Please understand, there may be projects that we will not be able to help you with. We will do our best.
This is a technique class to straight stitch quilt in a diagonal pattern. To do this you will need to supply a piece of fabric (1 ½ yds), fabric for the border (3/4 yd), fabric for the backing (2 ¾ yd) and batting. You will also need thread to quilt with and the quilt guide from your sewing machine.
Pick the pattern of your choice, either one you have already purchased or a new purchase. It is best to have your pattern and materials before the class date. Fabric and supplies are listed on the pattern. Don’t forget your thread and stabilizer.
