Using your new sewing machine will be so much fun once you learn how to use all of its features.  We’ll show you how to sew on different types of fabrics, sew  machine hems, and make a buttonhole.  Also included in the class is information on threads, needles, and machine maintenance along with other sewing techniques if there is time.

Bring your sewing machine, foot control, power cord, all of the accessories that came with your machine, owner’s manual, scissors, a spool of all-purpose sewing thread (100% cotton or 100% polyester),  paper and pen for notes and eye glasses (if you need them).

In order for us to start class on time, please arrive 5-10 minutes before class is to begin to allow you to have time to set up.

This class is an introduction to your new Husqvarna Viking®  sewing machine. Learn the basic features of your machine including how to create buttonholes and do a blind hem. Space is limited, so be sure to sign up early to get the date you want.

This months block uses a cool foot that you can join edges of you fabric to trims: Ribbon, Lace, etc. to wonderful effect. Block 10 of 12.

Block 5 features the Flat felled foot.

In this class you will learn a quick and easy way to make a double pinwheel block.  This one looks very nice as a “scrappy” project.
