We are seeing circles in on Saturday’s everywhere we go. Come join us as we continue to learn more about the Circular Attachment. Join us each month and there will enough block for a quilt of circles. We are learning how to use a variety of feet. This block is using the circular attachment to make pretty flower. You’ll look like a pro.

To learn all the possibilities, it is important for new owners to join Viking Club, HUSQVARNA VIKING® Embroidery Club, and take creative classes when they are offered.

The wonderful world of embroidery is now available to you with your new machine! You will learn how to set it up for embroidery, load a design onto the machine, determine the appropriate stabilizers, hoop the project, and stitch out the design.

This is PART TWO of a two part course. You must have completed part one, in order to participate!
Learn the basics of quilting by completing a place mat or table runner sized quilt. This is a two part class. In part one, you’ll learn rotary cutting and piecing techniques. In class two (one week later) you’ll quilt and bind your small project! You’ll go home with instructions to make larger projects using the same design. We’ll use a traditional Disappearing Nine Patch quilting pattern provided by Colette Wilson. A supply list will be sent via email with your registration confirmation. Required: Your Viking or Singer machine, in good sewing condition. It is recommended that you be familiar with your machine operation before you tackle this class. Preregistration is required, space is limited.
Supplies: refer to your handouts from class one for size, and bring your quilt batting, and backing for the project. Don’t forget your homework: Cut three, 3″ strips cut from the width of your coordinating fabric for your borders(you’ll need 1/2 yard for this and binding fabric). Cut three 2.5″ strips from the the width of fabric for your binding. Bring your walking foot (if you have one), and a quilting thread… be sure it is marked for “machine quilting” and is not “glace or glazed” (that is for hand quilting!).
