We have had a lot of interest in making doll clothes, so we getting ready for a slumber party for your young ladies 18” doll.  Make a robe and if time allows a quilted sleeping bag and pillow. All you need is a charm pack, or 25 five inch squares from your stash.You’ll use another white/ light charm pack or 3/8 of a yard for the window pane, and a 1/2 yard for a border and your ready for class. This will be a two week class. When you sign up for the August 9 class,you are automatically sighed up for August 16.

We are turning a comfy sweatshirt into a jacket for any occasion.  Most of the fabric will be cut into 2” or 2 ½” strips so a jelly roll plus some extra fabric will be fine. A walking foot is required.  This is a 2 part class with time for homework to be completed.

This month’s design comes from Collection 278 “Sparkling Holiday”. Create surface texture with yarn couched appliques. The project is for a child’s dress, but the technique would look great on a bag, pillow, etc.

Supplies: Machine and Embroidery Unit, New Embroidery Needles, Circular Attachment, Yarn Couching Feet Set, Three Hole Yarn Foot, 150×150 Do All Embroidery Hoop, Tear A Way Stabilizer, Dissolve Away Plus Stabilizer, (2) washable yarns size 4, matching and/or complimentary threads, Fabric for background/project, 1/2 yard contrast fabric for appliques and ruffle (or a few 8″ squares contrast fabric for appliques), Free design from Collection 278.

There will be two classes. Choose between Tuesday, August 19, 6-8:30 PM or Friday, August 22, 10:30-1 PM.
