This class is an introduction to your new Husqvarna Viking® sewing machine. Learn the basic features of your machine including how to create buttonholes and do a blind hem. Please bring your machine, all accessories, power cord, foot control, machine user’s guide, and sewing thread.

Review setting up your software for use with your Embroidery machine in 6D™ Configure
Manage your designs with the 6D™ Embroidery System Windows® Explorer Plug-In. View embroideries and design files as thumbnail images, then print, convert or send them to your connected embroidery machine.
For Owner’s of 6D™, 6D™Extra and 6D™ Premier. You will need your laptop with 6D loaded plus your Dongle.
We are seeing circles in the daytime everywhere we go. Come join us as we continue to learn more about the Circular Attachment. Join us each month and there will enough blocks to complete a quilt of circles. We are learning how to use a variety of feet. This block is using some of your decorative stitches and a method similar to paper piecing. You’ll look like a pro.
This class is just the beginning of the wonderful world of Husqvarna Viking® and Singer embroidery! It gives basic instructions on how to achieve beautiful embroidery using your new Singer XL-420 embroidery machine. Please bring your machine, embroidery unit, USB stick with designs, design book, bobbin filled with bobbin fill, and embroidery thread.

Singer Design and Sew like Isabelle, Girl of the Year Sewing Class

We offer advanced classes for owners of the Diamond Deluxe, Diamond and Ruby embroidery machines. These classes are designed to teach techniques specific to these machines, so that owners can understand and utilize all there is on these wonderful machines!
New techniques will be introduced every two months. In the two month period, one class will be offered during the daytime, and one in the evening, so that everyone can attend; the topic will be the same for both classes.

Learn about threading, thread selection, maintenance for your machine, parts of the serger, chaining off, finishing your seam, turning corners, reading your user manual/charts. We will focus on threading for the 4-thread overlock and 3-thread overlock stitches.

Do you avoid projects with zippers because “they never look right,” “they are too hard,” you just “can’t do it?” Then, this is the class for you! We will not do a project, but will learn 4 different zipper applications. You will be able to keep your sample zipper applications for later reference.

Learn how to use multiple Viking feet to accomplish a sampler quilt at the end of a rotating twelve months. The finished quilt will be approximately 49″L x 40″W. We used six different fabrics.
Each block gives specific fabric, notions, feet, accessories and cutting requirements as well as instructions to make the block. Note: This will be a sewing class, not embroidery.
