You will have a basic knowledge of how to achieve beautiful embroidery when done with class! This class will introduce you to the embroidery aspect of your Husqvarna Viking Designer Machine.   We will discuss stabilizers, needles, and threads that will help you achieve beautiful embroideries with your new machine.

Supplies you will need to bring:

Viking embroidery machine with embroidery unit, 120 x 120 embroidery hoop,  embroidery foot for your machine, 4pcs tear away stabilizer to fit hoop, USB stick with designs, design book, bobbin filled with embroidery bobbin thread,  embroidery snips, and 3 colors of embroidery thread.

General Class Policy • You are responsible for bringing your own machine, accessories, and sewing supplies to each class. We do not loan them out! • If the class has a cost, you must pay when you sign up.  Owner’s Classes are completely free when you purchase your machine at The Viking Sewing Gallery.  Our specialty classes do have a cost as well as some additional supplies that will vary with the class.  The fee must be paid when you enroll in the class.

Embroidery Basics was just the start.  During this Connectivity and Advanced Embroidery Class, you will customize designs and learn how to interface your machine with your computer.  You can then transfer designs to and from your computer directly to your embroidery machine.  Please bring your embroidery machine, all accessories, embroidery arm and your computer if it is a laptop.

Includes all Husqvarna Viking Designer embroidery machines.

This class is an introduction to your new serger.  Learn the basic features of you machine including how to do the overlock and rolled hem.  Please bring your machine, accessories, machine owners’ manual and serger thread.

Learn how to edit your designs using both the edit page, available in 6D™ Embroidery Extra and Premier, and in StitchEditorPlus™, which comes with 6D™ Premier or is available as an add-on for 6D™ Embroidery Extra. Take a look at other wizards in the program: ExpressDesign™, PhotoStitch™ and QuiltBlock™ . Taking 6D™ Embroidery Software 1 & 2 are required before class 3.

Enjoy this special class where you will both learn how to make a cute tote bag and how to use your sewing machine to creatively embellish items you may have at home.The price of the class includes a kit which has an American Girl book, trims and embellishments.

Learn how to navigate the new 6D™ Software. Bring in designs, add lettering, save designs and send to machine or memory stick. Introduction to the CardShop™ wizard, which is now included in 6D Embroidery Extra and Premier, and how to embroider cards and use these embroideries for gift ideas, too. Software required: All levels of 6D™ Software except the Machine Communication disc but you are welcome to join us to see how much more you can do with some software! You MUST take 6D Embroidery Software 1 first!

Introduces you to 6D. Set up software with 6D Configure and learn how to find and organize your designs with the NEW 6D Explorer Plug-in which allows you to see thumbnails of your designs in Windows Explorer.  Software required: ALL levels of software: 6D Embroidery, 6D Embroidery Extra and 6D Premier, or the Machine Communication that comes with your machine. Please specify which level of software and which version of Windows  you have when you sign up. Please have your software installed before class.
