Here’s a class for folks who want to start FREE-MOTION quilting but need a little help getting started! Come to class with a quilt-sandwich to test out several techniques. We will learn to meander, pebble, and paisley, among other fun patterns.
Before class, use 3 or more “busy” prints to make 6.5″ blocks. Piece together to form a table or bed runner–at least 3 blocks wide and as long as you like. Cut batting and a solid contrasting fabric for the back. Square batting and pieced blocks on top of solid; cut to fit; safety pin layers together–and bring the sandwich to class ready to quilt!
Free-motion is a ton of fun: once you’re on your way you won’t want to stop. Space is limited so sign up soon!
