Let’s have a Fun Day of showing off your creations, sharing your experiences and discussing the challenges you had in creating your masterpieces.  Let’s use this as an opportunity to socialize with others that enjoy sewing and learn from the vast amount of knowledge everyone has.

Between now and June 15, start working on your entry to our Fun Accessory Challenge 2013.  On June 15, 2013, you will bring in your creation to share with everyone, allowing it to be voted on.  Voting will be open to anyone in the JoAnn’s store that wishes to cast a vote.    You will need to bring:

Designer Club will be the 4th Saturday of the month, between 10:00 and 12:00. This is a great way to learn all of the aspects of your wonderful machine.  Each month we will be using a special technique, either sewing or embroidering or both! April 27 we will be making a Family is…pillow or wall hanging.  We will embroider on ribbon, sew a plastic window to insert your family photo. This club is open to all embroidery machine owners. When signing up you will get a supply list.

As always, we need 3 people to register and pay 1 week in advance or the class will be cancelled

We have expanded our embroidery and software programs. We are offering the company sponsored Viking Software and Embroidery Club. Software club will have hands on lessons using your computer and dongle.  We will feature a topic from the 5D Embroidery system. We will have a printed lesson along with a webex recording made by one of our SVP Education Experts on the topic of software designing, embroidery, feet and hoop techniques. Every month we will have a new topic.  It will be fun and you’ll leave with the instructions to do the project at home or sign up and do the project in class with us.  This month we will be using 5D Portrait stitch, 5D Stitch Editor plus and 5D Design Aligner. Our class for Software and Embroidery Club we be on Thursday, from 2:30-4:30.  You will need to call and register.
