This class is the beginning class for embroidery. It gives basic instructions on how to achieve beautiful embroidery starting with using the right stabilizer and proper hooping. We’ll also teach you how to choose, adjust and save your designs.
Please bring your machine, embroidery unit, USB stick with designs, sampler book, bobbins filled with bobbin- fill, and embroidery threads in several colors.

Applique a pair of Flip Flops onto background fabric using stitch witchery or heat and bond. Class will include the satin stitch and decorative stitches to complete binding. Also, included you will learn how to use the Quick Easy Mitered Binding Tool. Feet used for this project will be the 1/4 piecing foot and the open toe foot. You will need the Sew Biz Calendar Parade Summer pattern. Class Price $10.00 and will consist of two session, June 3rd and June 10th Please bring your sewing machine, scissors, pins, stitch witchery or heat and bond, thread, and the above mentioned feet. You will need two different coordinating fat quarters for the sandals, 1/3 yd tonal background fabric, 1/2 yd backing fabric, 1/2″ ribbon, two buttons, jumbo rick rack for side borders, 13×14 inches of low loft or Pellon 987 craft batting. (Please note: should be cotton fabric)

Emb. Club is every First Friday of the month and we explore challenging places to emb. and new emb. techniques, hoops, and stich styles. This month we will be working on our free motion techniques. Even when you own a fabulous embroidery machine there’s still good reason to get good at freemotion. The fastet way to get good at freemotion quilting is to practice freemotion embroidery. The last time i offered this class, no one had ever done freemotion and everyone left with an embroidered owl that they loved! so come join the fun!

Endless embroidery is so easy with the right hoop. Bring your favorite design to class and learn how to make it endless for the pillowcase band. While your designs are stitching out, a demonstration of the quick jelly roll pillowcase technique will be done.

The Ring Bearer’s Pillow is the project for this month. Did you know you can bring all those beautiful decorative stitches into your embroidery? We will bring buttonholes and decorative stitches into the embroidery hoop for a quick design with metallic threads. Add satin ribbon and you have an heirloom every bride will want to have. This class is especially designed for Designer Diamond, Designer Diamond Deluxe and Ruby owners.
Ring Bearer’s Pillow
Make a small wall quilt of a watering can and dimensional flowers. You can use the pop up flowers from May’s Embroidery Club or make cute little yoyo flowers for the quilt. Machine appliqué will also be taught.
