Learn how to show off your embroidery to optimal effect with this Embroidery Placement class! Attendees will learn how to use paper printouts, disappearing marking pens and other readily available tools to place their designs for professional-looking results. The charge for this class is $10.

Congratulations, you made it to the Coverstitch!   In this class you will learn to convert your serger for the coverstitch and chain stitch: the different threading process, and the needle
positions. We will also try some of the different feet that you can use with
the coverstitch. No worries though because you no longer Fear the Serger.

Create a embroidery design using 5D Design Creator and 5DQuilt Designer that you can stitch out using different fabrics to create four separate panels, each representing a different season. You’ll use Design Creator to make an appliqued tree with appliqued leaves, and Designer to create a stippled background. This is the first class, and we’ll have one class each month (yes, you will have homework!) until it is done. This class will give you a whole set of tools to make your own original designs into beautiful quilts.  You’ll only need to bring your computer to this first class, as you’ll create the design. Check out Karen’s sample in the store on your next visit — you’ll love it!

This Month we will do the cutest patch work puppy dog that will be fun to put on your bed or the animal lover in your life!  This is a very cute project and you will have fun making it!  It is the basics of quilting and will get your started with piecing.

If you own the Designer I, SE, Ruby, or Diamond, and you have ever wondered when to use those large beautiful and delightful omnimotion stitches, then this is the class for you.
