You can use this apron for any season or activity–cooking, sewing, and even gardening. The three pockets are handy for holding what you need at your fingertips. The pocket panel has three embroidered designs. The edges are bias bound, and the tie is a drawstring. We’ve selected Christmas designs, but you can use any embroideries that you choose.

Make this pillow with the traditional Ohio Star Pattern as you learn how to do quilt piecing by machine, sew triangles, sew squares (and match corners!), echo quilt my machine, make a gathered ruffle, AND apply a zipper to the back by the ruffle so that it is next to being invisible. We have ours in Christmas colors because of our “Christmas in July” theme, but you can use whatever colors you desire. No prior quilting experience is required, but you must have a sewing machine that is in good working order and know the basics of how to operate it to participate in this class.

We will be working with the new Circular Attachment to create an appliqued pillow. You will learn to use this new tool to create designs from simple circles to shapes and applique! With your own color combinations, decorative stitches and shapes you will surely create a one of a kind pillow!
You will need to purchase and cut your fabric prior to class as this project will take the entire 2-2 1/2 hours to complete!
Learn the basics of creating beautiful cutwork designs and reverse applique using the Husqvarna Viking Cutwork Needles. We will be learning the techniques so you can then create beautiful, one-of-a-kind projects that will be envy of all who see them.
You will need your embroidery machine, embroidery unit, embroidery thread, a solid color fat quarter (or a piece of fabric approximately 18 x 18) and a coordinating “scrap” for the reverse applique. We will be using Aqua Magic dissolvable stabilizer.
Turn a plain sweatshirt into a “yummy” patchwork jacket. You won’t believe how much fun and easy this class will be. Collect your favorite fabrics: batiks, country, floral, flannel, black & white, oriental; the choices are endless. “Whack” them into shapes and use your sweatshirt as a canvas to create your masterpiece. Free motion quilting or decorative stitches on your machine finishes the jacket.
Skill Level: intermediate- rotary skills required and prior quilting experience
