We are going to be making this adorable baby quilt! We will be doing this quilt from start to finish. This class will be set up in 5 parts so as to have enough time for every step. When you buy the pattern it comes with instructions for several sizes but in class we will be making the baby size. Once you learn the technique of this quilt then you can make it in any size you would like.

Embroidered Toy Quilt – session 2 of 3
Many of you saw this project when Viking educator, Alix Graham Michele, visited with us in February. She has given us permission to teach her class here in Mayfield Heights! Created with the Inspira Toys embroidery designs and 5D software*,**, this quilt will delight any youngster! The 3 session class will begin with the software*/** and how to create the blocks for the quilt, and then we will embroider & quilt in the hoop. Finally we will assemble the quilt.
*No software? No problem!
**Even if you have little or no experience using the software, you can take this class!
This is a 3 session class. All sessions are required to be taken together. The class dates are Tuesday June 25th, July 2 & July 16th from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. To sign up for this class, please register for the first session by June 25th. Upon registration for the first session, you also register for the remaining sessions.

Quilting the Quilt
Well, we embroidered our strip, pieced and piped some more strips and put them together to make a top. What’s next?
This class is an introduction to straight line quilting – stitching in the ditch, cross hatching, creating design with straight lines.
All makes and models welcome. Students will need a walking foot for their machine.
Jelly Roll Race
Ever wonder what to do with those pretty rolls of pre-cut fabric strips? We will be having a Race, a Jelly Roll Race! Come and piece together a lap size quilt top in under an hour! We will have prizes for the fastest. Bring your own machine, or call ahead to reserve the use of one of our Viking Floor models. Purchase your Jelly Roll from Joann Fabrics before the race (hint: they are on sale for 40% off thru July 6.) The Race will begin at 3:00 pm on Saturday July 20th. Cutwork using Cutwork needles
She’s back! Rose Marie is teaching a cutwork class using the cutwork needles. Bring your embroidery machine and thread and join her as you stitch beautiful cutwork with needles. Material and stabilizer is provided. Pre-registration is required for this class.
Beginning Sewing
Have you always wanted to sew but didn’t know where to start? This class is for you! Spend a couple of hours learning the basics of machine sewing. A class supply list will be provided upon registration.
Ironing Board Caddy
Ironing is a part of life for all sewers. We spend considerable amounts of time in front of our ironing board but how often do we have to search for our tools? We will create an Ironing Board Caddy that hangs off of your ironing board with embroidery. Don’t have an embroidery machine? No problem! Use a focus fabric instead. This class is $25 and all you need to bring is your fabric and machine. A supply list will be sent upon registration for the class.
Advanced 5D Training
Come, join us as we learn advanced features of our program. You will need your laptop,5D Pro (Plus) and dongle for this class. Please register in advance for this class. We will review some of the advanced features of the 5D Pro.
5D Organizer
We will go over the Communication disc and Organizer that came with your embroidery machine. You will need your laptop with the Organizer disk that came with your machine (hint: in the back of the owner’s manual). Please register in advance for this class. Machine Introduction and Embroidery Basics (600E and XL-400)
This class is an introduction to your new Husqvarna Viking sewing machine. Learn the basic features of your machine including how to create buttonholes and do a blind hem. Please bring your machine, all accessories, power cord, foot control, machine user’s guide, and sewing thread. Please bring your machine, embroidery unit, USB stick with designs, design book, bobbin filled with bobbin fill, embroidery thread and laptop.
This class is intended for, but not limited to, Husqvarna Viking Model 600E and Singer XL-400. Pre-registration is required.

Heirloom Club: Sampler Heirloom Quilt – Block 2
The sampler heirloom quilt will consist of nine blocks. Each block will feature a different heirloom technique. The second block will feature pintucks and lace shaping. The cost for this club is $5.00
