Sit ‘n’ Sew is just that, bring you machine, bring your project, bring lunch if you want and hang out with others with your same interests.  Spend the afternoon finishing up that unfinished projects.  Share tips, hints, techniques and learn from each other.  There is not really a “class” as much as it is a fun way to spend the day. Space is limited so please let us know if you will be attending.  As always, let us know if you can’t make it so we can let someone else come in your place.

Quilt As You Go Blanket – Serger / Sewing Machine “Quilt” 11am to 1 pm

This will be the first of two classes for this Quilt / Blanket.  The first class will be rotary cutting the pieces to be ready to sew at the second class.  This can be done both on a serger and regular sewing machine.  Quick and easy to do.  Design your own quilt with the fabrics you pick.

Sewing with Creativity-Create Goodie Bag

Join our manager each Saturday in May to make fun projects and learn new techniques on your Husqvarna Viking Sewing/Embroidery machine.  A different project will be offered each week. Please stop by the store to receive a list of supplies and to make your reservation for class. Class size is limited, so hurry in and don’t be left out of the fun!

Husqvarna Viking: Learn a Foot Class

Candlewicking Foot.  Bring your specialty thread, such as, 40 wt rayon embroidery thread or regular 50 wt 3-ply sewing thread to class and Patti will show you how to create a candlewicking stitch on your Husqvarna Viking machine.  A Husqvarna Viking machine 950, 1100, 1 or 1+ or higher is required to take this class.  (Your machine must be able to program the stitch. If you own a Designer Series machine you will use your x menu, no programming required.
