We have expanded our embroidery and software programs. We are offering the company sponsored Viking Software and Embroidery Club. Software club will have hands on lessons using your computer and dongle.  We will feature a topic from the 5D Embroidery system. We will have a printed lesson along with a webex recording made by one of our SVP Education Experts on the topic of software designing, embroidery, feet and hoop techniques. Every month we will have a new topic.  It will be fun and you’ll leave with the instructions to do the project at home or sign up and do the project in class with us.  You will need to register for the class.

5D ORGINIZER

Every Viking Embroidery  machine receives 5D organizer(communication software) with their purchase, as well as 5D embroidery, 5D embroidery extra, and 5D Pro. Learn how to use this useful module to find, sort, delete or open your designs! This class will help you organize your designs, add trim commands and sent to your USB stick or computer.

This class is just the beginning of the wonderful world of Husqvarna Viking embroidery! It gives basic instructions on how to achieve beautiful embroidery using your new Husqvarna Viking embroidery machine. DIAMOND TECHNIQUES-ADVANCED DESIGN SHAPING

We will learn to program 3 designs from your stock designs into a unique design shape, than add a font shape, all just using your DIAMOND sewing machine

This Serger class II will teach Coverstitch for S21 Serger and Coverstitch / 5 thread sewing for S25. There will be many techniques taught in this class to help you to know your serger and be able to do all those many projects you are looking forward to doing.

Prerequisite for this class is to take Serger Class I . This will reserve your spot in this class.

If you have wanted to learn to sew, we have a series that is offered for adults during mid-August & early September on Monday evenings.  Three projects in four classes will build your skills from novice to making a tote, a garment and a home decor’ project.  Each project builds additional skills in a sequence, so it is recommended that you take all four classes in order.

• August 18–Class #1–Make an appliqued tote bag.
• August 25–Class #2– Make a pair of pull-on pants or pajama bottoms where you learn to use a commercial pattern.  You will learn how to cut, transfer pattern markings, sew and finish seams, apply a machine stitched hem, and make a casing for an elastic waistband.  We’ll even show you how to sew in-seam pockets if your pattern includes them.
• Sept. 8–Class #3–Make a draw-string skirt.  No pattern needed for this.
• Sept. 15–Class #4–Make a flange pillow using decorative stitches on a sewing machine.
