This class will introduce you to all the fabulous features of your new Husqvarna Viking® or Singer® sewing machine. Learn the basic functions of your machine such as winding the bobbin, threading the machine, navigating through the stitch menus and creating buttonholes. Please bring your machine, all the accessories, the power cord, foot control, user’s guide and sewing thread.

We will be making a lovely pieced tote from a jelly roll and decorative stitches. It is a great way to learn some creative quilting techniques! This is a two-part class, the first class will involve mostly cutting and beginning to piece the jelly roll together.

This class is an introduction to your new serger. Learn the basic features of your machine including how to overlock and coverstitch. Please bring your machine, accessories, machine owner’s manual, and serger thread.

Owners’ Class Three Embroidery Basics
This class is just the beginning of the wonderful world of Husqvarna Viking® embroidery! It gives basic instructions on how to achieve beautiful embroidery using your new Husqvarna Viking® embroidery machine. Please bring your machine, embroidery unit, USB stick with designs, design book, bobbin filled with bobbin fill, and embroidery thread.

Owners Class Four Connectivity and Advanced Embroidery
Embroidery Basics was just the start. During this Connectivity and Advanced Embroidery Class, you will customize designs and learn how to interface your machine with your computer. You can then transfer designs to and from your computer directly to your embroidery machine. Please bring your embroidery machine, all accessories, embroidery arm and your computer if it is a laptop.

Having attended Machine Introduction, Decorative Stitches and Embroidery Basics are helpful, but not necessary.

The instructions can be downloaded online for free. This class requires a Husqvarna Viking embroidery machine that will accommodate the Circular Attachment. Don’t have the embroidery machine but want to learn cathedral windows done with the circular attachment – Opal and Sapphire series can also participate in the sewing portion of this class. Not sure if your machine will fit the attachment give us a call.
