December – Afternoon Embroidery Club

Christmas and tatted lace just seem to go hand in hand. Making your lace on the machine is much quicker and more relaxing relaxing than doing it by hand. And while Jan does hers on her machine and knows the fundamentals of  doing it by hand, making lace brings warm memories of favorite aunts who used to tat and sell to Marshall Fields in Chicago. That’s part of what sewing is about connecting the now with the past. If you are an annual handmade ornament giver, this class is for you. You may want to talk to us about pre-ordering this collection.
