Beginner class for all Viking and Singer EMBROIDERY machines. 

Students will learn how use the embroidery features of their machine.

Embroidery stabilizers and hooping techniques will also be covered in this class.

Please remember to bring your machine.

If you have Singer XL-400 or Viking 600E, you also will need to bring your computer.

Students will sew a zippered bag embellished with applique, decorative stitches and machine embroidery.  Sewing techniques learned in class #1 will be reviewed while creating the bag.

Get in the mood with this holiday table runner or make a smaller version as a placemat.

Project choices – for those without an embroidery machine, you may elect to applique a poinsettia or make a paper pieced tree. Those with machine embroidery will have completed the embroidered applique for this project earlier in the month.

• Basic piecing info – e.g. establishing your 1/4″ seam, proper way to hold your fabric
• Options for binding the table runner will be discussed.
