Make your first project on your machine! Learn how to use your decorative stitches and review the things you learned in Owner’s Class 1. Please bring white all-purpose thread. After taking Owner’s Class 1, everyone needs to take this class before signing up for any other classes.
General Class Policy
• Please bring your own machine, accessories, and sewing supplies to each class.
• If the class has a cost, please pay when you sign-up. Of course, Owner’s Classes are completely free. Some of our specialty classes may be $10 unless you are already an owner of the item featured in the class or you choose to purchase the item during class for 10% off. These classes are marked with an asterisk (*). This is a great way to try an accessory that you’ve been eyeing without the commitment!
• Please arrive early to class to set up. Class begins promptly at the time shown on the calendar with no late arrivals.

We’ve been working on Fisherman Fred for a few months, but you are welcome to come in and learn the art of applique and embellishment. You’ll be surprised how you can make each block special with applique and stitches.

Learn how to lay out and sew bias strips to create this pretty celtic design. You’ll learn how to use the Fasturn set to turn your strips right side out. The left edge topstitching foot makes stitching the bias strips down easy as pie. The reverse side of the tote bag shows the same design stitched out just using decorative stitches on your machine.

This month we’re using fabric scraps to make quilt block potholders. We’ve been asked many times if a serger does anything besides finish edges. I love to use my serger to do strip quilting. You’ll see we can make some interesting blocks using the serger, and the edges are finished!

During the Chip-Chop Pillow class you will learn to think outside the normal lines. Using your different fabrics we will sew, cut and re-sew our pieces of fabric to create a patchwork front and a solid back. You will then learn the art of quilting and finish off your pillow by putting in a visible zipper in one of the most unlikely of places. When finished your Chip-Chop casing will fit a 20″ x 20″ pillow form. Many people have already asked about this class and spots will be filling fast, so make sure to reserve your spot today!

You asked for a Circle Attachment class and here it is! In this class, we will be combining slivers of fabrics, applique techniques and using the Circle Attachment to create a unique table runner that shows off your curves. When finished your 18″ x 50″ table runner will be the talk of all who visit. Want to be a little more Rounded? After taking the class make a wall hanging by joining 4 of these together and stitch-in-the-ditch to piece as one. Spaces are limited so be sure to sign up TODAY!
