It’s all about zippers! There are several different zipper feet for your Viking sewing machine, including the “E” foot that comes with the machine. Need a review on how to put different style zippers in? Bring your machine, a new size 80 or 90 Universal needle, sewing thread and a filled bobbin, three 7″ all purpose polyester zippers and one 7-9″ Invisible zipper, four pieces of fabric, 9″x18″, and sewing kit supplies. If desired you can make one of your samples into a small bag; samples and directions will be available.
If you have an Invisible Zipper Foot, and /or a Narrow Zipper Foot, bring them along, as we will be using them in class.

Embroidery Basics was just the start. During this Connectivity and Advanced Embroidery Class, you will customize designs and learn how to interface your machine with your computer. Let’s try a new technique! Cutwork Needles take the scissor trimming away from doing cutwork.
It is really very simple to get outstanding results. Don’t be afraid of creating these lovely designs for yourself.
If you own a Ruby or Diamond, you already have cutwork designs. All of our machines are capable of using cutwork needles and we have designs available.
You will need to bring your cutwork needles, your fabric and design, and “aqua magic” stabilizer with your machine for this class.

We will again have Designer Club, it will be the 4th Saturday of the month, 10-12. Our meeting will be February 22. This is a great way to learn all of the aspects of your wonderful machine. Each month we will be using a special technique, either sewing or embroidering or both!

We have expanded our embroidery and software programs. We are offering the company sponsored Viking Software and Embroidery Club. Software club will have hands on lessons using your computer and dongle. We will feature a topic from the 5D Embroidery system. We will have a printed lesson along with a webex recording made by one of our SVP Education Experts on the topic of software designing, embroidery, feet and hoop techniques. Every month we will have a new topic. It will be fun and you’ll leave with the instructions to do the project at home or sign up and do the project in class with us. You will need to register for the class.
