Set up software with 6D Configure and learn how to find and organize your designs with the NEW 6D Explorer Plug-in which allows you to see thumbnails of your designs in Windows Explorer. Software required: ALL levels of software: 6D Embroidery, 6D Embroidery Extra and 6D Premier, or the Machine Communication that comes with your machine. Please specify which level of software and which version of Windows you have when you sign up. Please have your software installed before class. If you need help, please call before class so you are all set up to go for class.
6D Embroidery Software 2 Evening
Learn how to navigate the new 6D™ Software. Bring in designs, add lettering, save designs and send to machine or memory stick. Introduction to the CardShop™ wizard, which is now included in 6D Embroidery Extra and Premier, and how to embroider cards and use these embroideries for gift ideas, too. Software required: All levels of 6D™ Software except the Machine Communication disc but you are welcome to join us to see how much more you can do with some software! You MUST take 6D Embroidery Software 1 first!
6D Embroidery Software 3 Evening
Learn how to edit your designs using both the edit page, available in 6D™ Embroidery Extra and Premier, and in StitchEditorPlus™, which comes with 6D™ Premier or is available as an add-on for 6D™ Embroidery Extra. Take a look at other wizards in the program: ExpressDesign™, PhotoStitch™ and QuiltBlock™ . Taking 6D™ Embroidery Software 1 & 2 are required before class 3.

5D Sketch
Learn how to enhance designs, printed fabric or photos with stitches. A graphics drawing tablet, i.e. Wacom brand, is useful for this program but not necessary for this class. Class requires the 5D Professional System.

Serger Basics Cover Stitch 6-8pm
In this class we will learn how to set you your new Husqvarna Viking Huckylock to a coverstitch.

Serger Basics Class II ( for S21, S25 )
This Serger class II will teach Coverstitch for S21 Serger and Coverstitch / 5 thread sewing for S25. There will be many techniques taught in this class to help you to know your serger and be able to do all those many projects you are looking forward to doing.
Prerequisite for this class is to take Serger Class I . This will reserve your spot in this class.

Learn how to use your new Viking Sewing and Embroidery Machines purchased from our Viking Sewing Store. There is a series of classes depending on the Sewing Machine you have purchased.
Class II : Designer Topaz 20, 30,50 Designer Ruby, Designer Diamond Royale, Deluxe, Sapphire Series, Opal 670, 650, Eden Rose.
This class will show programing in design stitches and how to get them from different menu’s. As a bonus with time allowing we will demo and sew with other accessory feet that are available to enrich your new machine.

This class will go over the basics of your new machine and open up many hidden things you are able to do with your machine.

Heirloom Techniques #3
This is a continuation of the Heirloom Techniques classes. In class #3, you will learn the techniques of free motion gimp application, making and/or using entredeux, lace application, and using the decorative heirloom stitches on your sewing machine that require the wing needle.
From the supply list given for class #1, be sure to bring:

Gimp, #8 Pearl Crown Cotton thread, or #30 crochet thread

- ¼ yard Three coordinating fabrics
- ¼ yard batting
Pre-Class Preparation
- Cut a 9 inch square out of two of the coordinating fabrics. Cut each square into four equal squares.
- Cut a 2-1/2 inch wide by WOF from the third fabric.
