We will discuss why some fonts work and others do not, what font size range means, what is realistic. Styles covered are Regular, Bold, Italic, and Applique. Satins verses Fills as well are satin outlines.

Are you dying to use your new embroidery machine but haven’t a clue where to begin? Come to our Embroidery Basics class and we’ll show you how easy it is. You’ll learn about stabilizers. To hoop or not to hoop, that is the question we will answer for you! We’ll teach you how to access your designs and do some editing, if your machine allows.
For this class you will need:
Your machine and embroidery unit, power cord, small hoop, R foot or Sensor Q foot, straight stitch plate, USB embroidery stick, small scissors, stabilizer, embroidery thread and embroidery bobbin thread (pre-wounds wok well).
Come learn to applique using your embroidery machine. This technique is so quick and easy to do, it’s one of my favorites. And it’s baseball season so I thought the Rangers T would be fitting. Beyond Embroidery Basics is a series to build skills for the novice embroiderer. This month covers the challenge of stabilizing knits. Many consider knit fabrics to be the most difficult to embroider on. We will do two quick designs – one on a t-shirt and one on a sweatshirt.
Having trouble, trying to start a new project, or just need help, this is a great way to solve those issues.
I will help you with your software to get the most out of it, whether it is 4D, 5D or 6D.
