This class incorporates embroidery, piecing and quilting techniques.  The class has three two hour sessions to complete the project and you must begin with class #1. It is great for beginning quilters as well as those who have quilting experience.

Many of you saw this project when Viking educator, Alix Graham Michele, visited with us in February. She has given us permission to teach her class here in Mayfield Heights! Created with the Inspira Toys embroidery designs and 5D software*,**, this quilt will delight any youngster! The 3 session class will begin with the software*/** and how to create the blocks for the quilt, and then we will embroider & quilt in the hoop. Finally we will assemble the quilt.

*No software?  No problem!

**Even if you have little or no experience using the software, you can take this class!

All sessions are required to be taken together. The class dates are Tuesday June 25th, July 2 & July 16th  from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. To sign up for this class, please register for the first session by June 25th. If you own the Diamond or Diamond deluxe, then this is the class for you. Learn how to use the laaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggge Majestic Hoop. Please bring your embroidery machine and arm to class. Also, if you already own the Majestic Hoop, please bring it as well. If you don’t already own the hoop,then feel free to try one of ours. Class size is limited, so reservations are necessary.

If you own the Husqvarna Viking 5D Pro System, you have the capability of turning your favorite photo into an embroidery design!  In part one, Patti will walk you through editing your jpg file photo so that you can stitch it out in part two of this class.  Start with a simple photograph (Patti used a .jpg of her maltese puppy (it may look simply “black and white”, but there were 30 different color changes!)  Check out her sample when you stop by the store to sign up!

This is a class to learn how to care for your machine in between professional cleanings. You will need to bring your machine , plug , foot and instruction book.
