Bring your machine and a project you need to finish. We will sew together and share ideas. There is no fee for this, just come and have fun sewing! If you don’t want to bring your machine, we can let you use one of ours. Please let us know ahead of time. There is no charge for this but we would like for you to register so we know how much room we need.

Software Club is a way to explore some of the fantastic features that are available in the MySewnet software. The class meets on the third week of the month, Monday 11:00 – 1:00, Saturday 2:00-4:00. The cost of the class is $5.00. Please bring a laptop with the MySewnet software installed if available. Class sheets will be provided if you prefer to follow along.

In this class, students will become familiar with their machine and machine accessories.
Students will learn what needles and thread to use for different fabrics, how to thread machine and wind a bobbin, how to select and adjust stitches for different types of fabric and sewing techniques, how to sew a blind hem, seam overcast and buttonhole.

An easy project for beginners. A useful item to have in the household, gift or sell. Bring in third of a yard of cotton fabric, cordinating cotton thread and a package of wrap and zap. Since this item will be going into a microwave all components must be cotton.
