Learn to make and fit leggings for casual or athletic wear. Fitting and measuring tips will be discussed and we’ll practice some techniques using serger and coverstitch machines.
Supplies needed:
-your basic sewing tools*
-legging pattern (for this class, try to start with a pattern that has just 1 or 2 pattern pieces)
-appropriate yardage of knit fabric as indicated on the pattern
-matching all-purpose thread
-waistband elastic as specified on the pattern
-size 4.0 twin needle for optional finishing techniques
-1/2 wide paper-backed fusible web such as steam-a-seam lite (https://smile.amazon.com/Warm-Company-Steam-Seam-Fusible/dp/B001689TRK/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1483551539&sr=8-4&keywords=steam+a+seam+2+double+stick+fusible+web ). Any brand is fine but you want the kind with a paper backing
