This month’s design comes from Collection 278 “Sparkling Holiday”. Create surface texture with yarn couched appliques. The project is for a child’s dress, but the technique would look great on a bag, pillow, table runner, etc.
Supplies: Machine and Embroidery Unit, new Embroidery needles, Circular Attachment, Yarn Couching Feet Set, 3-Hole Yarn Foot, 150×150 Do All Quilters Hoop, Tear-A-Way Stabilizer, Dissolve Away Stabilizer, (2) Washable Yarns size 4, Matching Thread (and or complimentary colored thread) and wound bobbins, Base Fabric, 1/2 yard contrast fabric for appliques and ruffle, (or a few 8″ squares of contrast fabric for appliques), free design from Collection 278
