Pillow Cases

In this class you will learn how to put together a pillow case.

Sewing level:   Beginner to Expert

During the class we will also get a chance to see and discuss what the world of embroidery has to offer for more elegant pillows, including but not limited to Personalizing, Endless Borders, Lace Work, and Cutwork. Your feed back during class can lead to future classes. You will be supplying your own fabric and thread for this class.

Bring: Supplies

Pillowcase Class

Choose  3 coordinating fabrics.

 Piping: cut 1 piece  1 ¾”  by 45”

 Cuff:  cut 1 piece 11 ½”  by  45”  ( all cuff are the same size )

Body of the Pillowcase:

Standard Pillow   cut 1 piece 45” by 27”  ( for a pillow 20” by 26” )

Queen Pillow       cut 1 piece 45” by 32”  (for a pillow 20” by 30”)

King Pillow           cut 1 piece   45” by 38”  (for a pillow 20” by 36”)

You will also need coordinating thread and a piping foot. If you need a piping foot, you can try ours out. Once you do you will want to add one to your must have sewing feet.

You will also need to bring your Sewing Machine, Power Cord and Pedal, Fabric of your choice, thread to match you fabric,  pins, and your best sewing glasses….
