- 14” x 14” square of fabric (this will be your base color)
- Fabric for backing – size depends on what size you make your hot pad
- 4 or 5 – 7” x 7” squares of different color fabrics for appliqué (depending upon how many colors you choose)
- 1 package bias binding (or you can make your own)
