This is really a cute jacket, and can be made in your favorite fabrics or in scraps. I have asked Delia to show you how it is done.
You will need: FABRIC: 45″ 1 fabric 1/2 yard (cuffs and trim)
6 or 8 fabrics 1/4 yard patches
Fabric should be compatible in weight and care requirements.
(Your patch fabric could include scraps left over from other
projects.)
SWEATSHIRT: 1 7.5 OZ. Poly/cotton sweatshirt one size larger than you
usually wear. consider color to coordinate with your fabrics.
NOTIONS: 3 large spools of thread–color to blend with the fabrics.

1 large (200 yd) metallic thread to contrast
1 decorative button
TOOLS: Scissors, rotary cutter, fabric glue, darning foot or free motion
foot for your machine.
