May 4th is Diamond Club. We will be using the very many techniques that this outstanding machine can do. You need to own a Diamond or Diamond Deluxe.
This month we will explore CUTWORK. There are 2 different ways to achieve this look. We will do both. We will use small sharp scissors and then the next exclusive way is using the cutwork needles. We will add this unique look to a T-Shirt and napkin.
Supplies needed:
Diamond with embroidery unit
old T-Shirt and napkin or 18″square linen or muslin
small sharp scissors
assorted 40 wt embroidery thread and bobbin thread
200×200, 240×150 or 170×100 hoop and 120×120 hoop
Aqua magic
Cutwork needles
multipurpose tool
whisper web mesh? light and soft fuse on or fuse and tear stabilizer
straight stitch plate
sensor Q foot
basic sewing notions
