We will again have Designer Club, it will be the 4th Saturday of the month, 10-12. This is a great way to learn all of the aspects of your wonderful machine.  Each month we will be using a special technique, either sewing or embroidering or both!  

 

 

We will be making a pumpkin banner    

Make a darling festive pumpkin banner to decorate the fall season!  Hang it on the fireplace mantle, bookshelf, wall or anywhere vertical. You will learn to use the endless hoop and make spot on prairie points with the Prairie Pointer!

1/4 yard cram cotton for embroidered band

1/8 yard each of 4 different fabrics fro prairie points

40 wt embroidery thread

Cut:

From cream cotton:

One strip 8″long x width of fabric

From INSPIRA

 

® Light & Tacky stabilizer:

One strip 44″ long

From INSPIRA

 

® Tear-A-Way stabillizer:

Two strips 44″ long

From pumpkin fabric:

Two strips 2″ long x width of fabric

Eight strips 3¼” long x 5½” wide for prairie point lining

One strip 1″ long x width of fabric

One rectangle 6½” long x 41″ wide for lining

From EACH of the four prairie point fabrics:

Two pieces 2¾” long x 5½” wide for a total of eight for prairie point outer
