Transform a T-Shirt–Canceled–will be rescheduled

Take a plain crew neck T-shirt, and transform it into a nice top by changing the neckline.  You will learn how to lower the neckline and add a bias cowl collar, add a lettuce edge ribbing collar, or make a hidden elastic application neck edging.   Although this project is designed for those with a serger, you can also use a sewing machine.

Suppy List

  • A crew neck T-shirt
  • Your serger & its accessories
  • If you do not have a serger with coverstitch capability, you will also need a 2.5 mm twin needle, sewing thread, and a 15J bobbin to use our classroom machine—or—you can bring your own sewing machine.  Just be sure to bring all of its accessories, power cord, and foot control!
  • Thread to match
  • Scissors
  • Rotary cutter & ruler
  • Clear elastic (3/8” wide) if you are doing a scoop neck with coverstitch
  • 1 yd. of a woven lightweight drapey fabric OR 3/8 yd. knit if you are doing the cowl collar

Class size is limited, so reserve your spot today.
