“Love in Bloom” Wall Hanging–Class is full–offering again Feb.12

This project can be used as a wall hanging or a table runner.  Learn patchwork and applique’ techniques and tips in this one class.  Make it now as a beautiful addition to your home so you can be ready for Valentine’s Day.

 

Supply List

  • Your lunch or $ to pick up lunch.  This is an all-day class.
  • Sewing machine, foot control, power cord, and accessories and feet that came with it*  (You do not need the embroidery unit if you have an sewing/embroidery machine.)
  • 1 1/8 yards of cream print fabric (for background and outer border)
  • 3/4 yard of dark red stripe or small pattern fabric (for blocks, applique’, and binding)
  • 1 fat quarter of red small floral fabric (for blocks and applique’)
  • 1 fat quarter of dark red mottle (for blocks and applique’)
  • 1 fat quarter of green motle (for stems and leaves)
  • 1/4 yard of red solid fabric (for innner border)
  • 1 3/4 yards for backing
  • Sew Soft Batting* (2 yards) or a crib batting
  • Interchangeable walking foot*
  • Changeable Quilter’s Guide Foot”
  • Free Motions Spring Action Foot* or Sensor Q Foot*
  • Clear B Edge Joining foot*
  • Sew Steady extension table (optional)
  • Sew Slip
  • Rotary cutter*
  • Rotary cutting ruler*
  • Water Works or Dissolve A-Way stabilizer*
  • Mini quilting iron (optional) with pressing mat
  • Basic sewing kit
  • Erasable fabric marking pen*
  • Lots of 1″ to 1 1/2″ safety pins OR 505 Temporary Spray Adhesive*
  • Sheets of old newspaper for overspray prevention to keep tables clean
