Learn To Applique’

Have you ever wondered “What is this applique’ stuff I keep hearing about?” Or maybe you just haven’t started a project because when you think about having to applique’ you get a little short of breath? Well, this class will be a fun simple class to get started!  What better way to learn then with others that feel the same as you do? Join us to overcome your fears and learn how to appliqué while making a fun shamrock wall hanging!

Supply List

  1. Calendar Parade – Spring pattern by Sew Biz*
  2.  Inspira Fusible Fleece*
  3. 505 Adhesive Spray*
  4. (4) 5″ squares of a variety of green fabrics of your choice for Shamrock
  5. 1/3 yd. Background fabric
  6. 1/2 yd. backing fabric
  7. 2 1/2 yd. 1/8″ cording
  8. 1 button

Pre-class Preparation

  • Cut (1) 12″ x 13″ rectangle from background fabric
  • Cut (1) 13″ x 14″ rectangle of Inspira Fusible Fleece*
  • Cut (1) 18″ x 19″ rectangle from backing fabric
  • Cut (1) 3 1/2″ x 11″ from backing fabric for hanging sleeve

**All cutting is required to be done prior to class

If you signed up for this class but later find that you will be unable to attend, please let us know well in advance so that we can call a person on our waiting list.  If there are too few to sign up, we reserve the right to cancel the class.   Also, please be kind to those with fragrance sensitivity by refraining from wearing colognes and perfumes.  Thank you.

 

In order for us to start class on time, please arrive 5-10 minutes before class is to begin to allow you to have time to set up.
