The sampler heirloom quilt will consist of nine blocks. Each block will feature a different heirloom technique. The eighth block will feature “Shadow Pin Tucks”, entredeux to flat fabric techniques.

Fabric – 7″ x 44″ (central panel for Pin Tucks); two pieces 6″ x 30″ for side panels Do not starch your fabrics!
Threads: heirloom (spool and a bobbin), embroidery thread (for decorative stitches on the side panels), pearl cotton #5 bright threads (for shadow pin tucks)
Entredeux – 2 pieces 14 ” each
Needles: universal #70 or #80, Twin #75 or #80 2.0 mm or 2.5 mm
Feet: Clear B, 5 Groove Pin Tuck Foot, Ruffler, Edge/Joining
Notions: starch spray, purple marking pen, scissors, pins, ruler
