Embroidery Basics–Viking Owner’s Class #3

The wonderful world of embroidery is now available to you with your new machine!  You will learn how to set it up for embroidery,  load a design onto the machine, determine the appropriate stabilizers, hoop the project, and  stitch out the design.

Please bring your sewing machine, the embroidery unit, foot control, power cord, all of the accessories and hoops that came with your machine, the USB stick that came with the machine, owner’s manual, scissors, 2-3 spools of 40 wt. rayon embroidery thread, size 75 embroidery needle or a 90 topstitch needle, a bobbin wound with bobbin thread, paper and pen for notes and your eye glasses (if you need them).

There is limited seating so reserve your spot early.

In order for us to start class on time, please arrive 5-10 minutes before class is to begin to allow you to have time to set up.

If you signed up for this class but later find that you will be unable to attend, please let us know well in advance so that we can call a person on our waiting list.  If there are too few to sign up, we reserve the right to cancel the class.   Also, please be kind to those with fragrance sensitivity by refraining from wearing colognes and perfumes.  Thank you.

This class is only for owners of  Husqvarna Viking sewing/embroidery machines and the Singer XL400.

You must be able to perform the basic operations of your machine to take this class.  If you cannot, please complete the Machine Basics:  Viking Owner’s Class #1 prior to registering.
