The pillowcase has three parts: a body, an accent strip and a cuff. Choose a
fabric for each. Please cut fabric before coming to class.
All fabrics
are cut across the fabric’s crosswise grain — from selvage to selvage. Use
fabrics that are 42″ – 44″ wide; slight differences in width aren’t a problem,
because you’ll trim everything to match later.
Pillowcase body: 27″ x full
fabric width
Pillowcase cuff: 9″ x full fabric width
Pillowcase
accent: 2″ x full fabric width
You will need to purchase Pretty Posies design package, bring your sewing machine and embroidery arm, your DESIGNER DIAMOND majestic hoop, embroidery thread of your choice ( one color). Sewing thread to match the
body of your pillowcase and straight pins. You will also need cutaway
stabilizer.
