ADULT BASIC SEWING–Flange Pillow

Make a home decor project in our last class of the series–a flange pillow embellished with the decorative stitches found on a sewing machine.  You will learn how to calculate measurements to fit a pre-made pillow form, decide which stitches and threads to use, use a stabilizer to prevent puckering of your stitches, turn corners, press crisp edges,  sew a flange, edgestitch, and make a sham pillow back.  Make this pillow to decorate your bed, sofa, or chair.  You will develop skills so that you can make your own pillows of any size.
